Hi everybody,
I'm moving this blog to another site that's easier for me to customize.

Translations of my world: Artistic expression with a cultural twist.
Island Art
Originally done with pen and paper. The color was added later on the computer. The original is my donation for a school fundraiser.
Dominican Republic, Samoan & Tribal
Did this one for a friend who was of Dominican Republican & Samoan descent. She wanted some tribal designs and hibiscus flowers so I threw those in as well.
Samoan Spectrum
This was my first personal attempt at Samoan art and the very piece that ignited my passion for Polynesian artwork. The original designs were drawn on poster board in 2008. I added some color recently for a bit more personality.
Year of the Dragon
My dad's birthday was yesterday and he is a dragon according to the Chinese zodiac. It's 2012 now, the year of the dragon, so I thought I'd do something to symbolize that.
Blog Update
I love art and I love culture, and their fusion is something I'm passionate about. I originally created this blog to showcase my island designs as a tribute to my Polynesian background, but as I am learning more about other cultures, I can't help but admire and appreciate their different styles of art as well. As a result, this blog will exhibit what I will be learning.
Border Work
i was given this huge photograph so that i could add a border full of samoan designs. it was harder than i thought... symmetry is not my strong suit.
Island Girl
i honestly don't know where this idea came from. just started painting and here's what i came up with.
Friendship Painting
another painting for another friend with a quote about friendship i appreciate. thought i'd try a feminine approach.
Samoan Chinese Fusion
a painting i did for a friend. samoan background w/ chinese characters: harmony, happiness, hope, peace & love.
New Cover Design
i thought it needed something more so i added a background. i'll be playing around with this more later...
Nifo Oti
for those of you who don't know, those are polynesian weapons called "nifo oti." this was designed for the group "flaming sword of samoa" and was printed onto a few shirts.
From Me To You
I have created this blog to showcase some of my work. My designs are a product of my Polynesian culture fused with modern expression. Unfortunately, I have watermarked each and every piece of artwork to deter people from stealing them. I know it sucks to have your eyes distracted by my name across the picture but it actually aggravates me to have to do it. Just appreciate the goods without trying to take off with them!
On that happy note, enjoy!
